It seems like no matter what Prince Harry and Meghan Markle say or do, their critics are always going to lash out at them for one reason or another.

This time around the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are being called eco-hypocrites. Here’s what you need to know.

During their most recent trip to New York City, Harry and Meghan’s security decoy included having seven cars follow them in the Big Apple.

Despite the fact that Harry once said that the world was on fire, they seem to be leaving their eco-footprints everywhere they go, and in a major way, too. And of course, some critics sure do have a lot to say about it.

Charles Rae, who often has something or another to say about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on almost a weekly basis, told GB News that Harry and Meghan look like eco-hypocrites for preaching so much about wanting to make a change in the environment, yet employ over seven cars full of security detail to keep them safe in New York City.

Rae said, “It’s an utter farce. This is a seven-car convoy who had to travel 200ft. It is absolutely ridiculous. We all know what happened in May when they claimed they had an ‘almost catastrophic’ car chase, which turned out not to be true. We keep on hearing these two about the planet, the climate and everything else, and yet they take seven cars to this event.”

He also added, “In contrast, we have the Prince and Princess of Wales turning up at a similar event in Birmingham and guess what? They didn’t need a seven car convoy.”

So far both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not made any comments about the criticism, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is much more to come.
