Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Demand Car Chase Photos From Paparazzi

It looks like the car chase drama continues. There’s a new report that says Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are demanding that the photos that were taken by the paparazzi on the night of their car chase be handed over to them. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Demand Car Chase Photos From Paparazzi

Just last week, Harry and Meghan, along with her mother Doria Ragland, were chased by the paparazzi for nearly two hours around New York City.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex supposedly did not want to stop their car because they didn’t want the paparazzi to the exact location of where they were staying for security purposes.

But now there’s a new report that says they want all the photos that were taken during the supposed chase handed over to them.

According to TMZ, The Sussex’s legal team fired up a letter that said, ‘We hereby demand that Backgrid immediately provide us with copies of all photos, videos, and/or films taken last night by the freelance photographers after the couple left their event and over the next several hours.”

But it doesn’t seem like the photo agencies are willing to comply. Backgrid, who supposedly have worked with Meghan Markle in the past (and are the same agency who took photos of her hiking just one day after the coronation), fired back by writing, “In America, as I’m sure you know, property belongs to the owner of it: Third parties cannot just demand it be given to them, as perhaps Kings can do.

Perhaps you should sit down with your client and advise them that his English rules of royal prerogative to demand that the citizenry hand over their property to the Crown were rejected by this country long ago. We stand by our founding fathers.”

So far Prince Harry and Meghan Markle themselves have not made any additional comments about the matter, but at this point it’s doubtful that they will say anything more about it.

Well BackGrid needs to know that HERE IN AMERICA, NO ONE can be ‘legally’ photograped without THEIR PERMISSION FIRST. So the uninformed, uneducated paparazzi needs to get their facts RIGHT. While the photos they take are their legal property, they DON’T have the rights to take photos of ANYONE without checking with them FIRST. They CAN BE SUED for that. So I hope Harry and Meghan sue ALL who were involved in that car chase for putting their lives in danger. Boy…talking about history repeating itself! It’s Déjà vue all over again.
