As a result, some warn that giving into all of Harry’s and Meghan’s demands could turn an orderly coronation into chaos. And others question if the Duke and Duchess of Sussex came up with these demands just to get payback for their eviction from Frogmore Cottage. Get all the details below.

King Charles may want to prepare for the worst case scenario at the coronation. Because his son Prince Harry along with as well as Meghan Markle  came up with a long list of demands. For instance, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex want a place on the Buckingham Palace balcony during King Charles’ coronation.

And the California-based couple also demands acknowledgment during the coronation of their children. As a result, the coronation and accompanying festivities could end up in “chaos,” claim royal insiders quoted by the NY Post.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex may want to expand their list of demands. But insiders warn that Harry and Meghan will face a “cold shoulder” from the rest of the royal family. And that raises concerns for the kids they want to appear at the coronation. Because Prince Harry and Meghan reportedly keep expanding their demands list, the palace has sought to finalize what it can. “The palace is trying to wrap up negotiations as quickly as possible,” shared an insider about the coronation. “Because they can’t go right up to the wire. It could lead to chaos,” added the source about last-minute changes to the schedule. “However, what the Sussexes are pushing for is for them to be included with the rest of the family at the Palace later that day.”

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Want Balcony And Kids At Coronation

Royal insiders report that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex want their children included at the coronation. Because Archie’s birthday coincides with the coronation, Harry and Meghan “would like some kind of nod to that at a lunch or drinks reception. Even if it’s just a happy birthday mention,” revealed one source. But the insider also noted that including little kids raises concerns about possible “restlessness and tantrums.”

And in addition to wanting their little kids included, Harry and Meghan want to appear on the Buckingham Palace balcony. That honor goes only to working members of the royal family. “However, what the Sussexes are pushing for is for them to be included with the rest of the family at the Palace later that day,” revealed the source. “It could very well be that it ends in stalemate and they won’t attend. But the palace is doing everything in its power to not let that happen.”

Charles will go through the process of formally receiving his crown on May 6. Some believe that the palace chose that date to create conflict for Harry and Meghan, since it falls on Archie’s birthday. And others have noted that Prince William’s children likely will participate in the coronation, along with their mother Kate Middleton.  George, 9, Charlotte, 7, and Louis, 5, reportedly will appear with their parents Prince William and Kate Middleton in a carriage behind a Gold State Coach transporting the King and Queen.
