Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Accused Of Playing A PR Game

Deliberate Leaks

On Thursday’s Daily News Headlines vlog on YouTube, Neil Sean said the couple deliberately leaked news about their trip to overshadow a major royal event.

The press release surfaced “literally at the moment when Royal Ascot was underway.”

He reminded royal family fans that Princess Catherine and Prince William arrived looking stunning.

King Charles and Queen Camilla were also there. Sean called it a prestigious day.

A Big Day Out

Sean seemed particularly miffed that the press release landed while William and Catherine were enjoying a major public appearance.

Really though, the planned protests that took place during Trooping the Colour might have worried them a bit more. 

Still, the royal expert voiced a strong opinion that “once again, these two bitter people cannot have the focus on somebody else having a moment.”

Why not wait until Royal Ascot finished? He said the answer was obvious.

The Headlines Fluctuate

The media stories keep changing. One day the headlines say they’re bringing the children, per Town & Country. The next day it becomes “may bring the children.”

“Is that true? Not in so many words perhaps, although in early May, The Mirror addressed speculation about the kids regarding “security.”

Sean claimed, “this is the game that they’re going to play.” They want everyone guessing for a month. That keeps them relevant.

Accommodation Options

Sean also shared accommodation details. Allegedly, they don’t include private stays with the King at Highgrove or Clarence House.

No invite to Windsor with William and Kate. The only options are “St. James’s Palace and Buckingham Palace.” Formal guest status. Not family.

Merely About A Brand?

Sean argued the real drive behind Meghan Markle is purely commercial. Then, he opined that her brand is struggling.

Jam not selling. Coffee venture flopped. Netflix “spectacularly dumped” them.

Sean suggested this visit would “realign her back with His Majesty the King.”

His view was that Meghan Markle needs the King more than he needs her.

The Old Security Issue

Security remains a sticking point. They want police escorts. As you probably know by now, it’s been discussed ad infinitum. Prince Harry wants full security, like a working royal.

An oversight he perhaps regrets in retrospect since the grand Megsit.

According to recent reports, security arrangements remain under discussion. But even so, there’s nothing fixed yet.
