It’s been one year since they tied the knot during their lavish wedding ceremony at Windsor Castle and it looks like Prince Harry is even more in love with his ‘amazing’ wife Meghan Markle than ever before. As a matter of fact, the royal couldn’t help but gush about his wife in a birthday tribute that was posted on the couple’s official Instagram account. Here’s what you need to know.

Meghan’s Birthday

Sharing a photo of the Duchess looking lovely in blue, the post was captioned with, “Happy Birthday to my amazing wife. Thank you for joining me on this adventure!’ – Love, H.”

It didn’t take Harry and Meghan’s social media followers very long to respond. Quite a few of them posted comments such as, “This is a gorgeous picture of Meghan. I just love how much Harry adores his wife. Best wishes and happy birthday to our Duchess,” along with, “Duchess Meghan has been doing a fantastic job. She and Harry are my favorite royal couple. Happy Birthday, you deserve all of the love in the world.”

Another Meghan fan wrote, “I would never normally wish someone I don’t actually know a happy birthday but I am so fed up with the bashing the Duchess gets from the media that I wanted to make it clear that we don’t all feel that way. Happy Birthday MM, with love.”

Clearly, Prince Harry is very proud of his wife and all that the couple have done together during their first year of marriage. Not only did they welcome their first child, Archie Harrison, back in May, but they’ve also worked side by side during their royal engagements and public appearances. Harry also couldn’t help but praise his wife and tell the world how proud he was of her shortly after she gave birth to their son.

Trip To Africa

With that said, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have a calendar full of engagements that they will be working on in the coming months. They also have a highly-anticipated trip to South Africa later this year. According to reports, Archie will also be traveling with his royal parents for the trip.
