Prince Philip has been alive for nigh on a century now and according to reports, Prince Harry wants his grandfather to be able to spend time with little Archie amid the uncertainty of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Since the Coronavirus appears to target the elderly more than any other demographic, it’s understandable that Prince Harry fears for his grandfather’s safety. Understanding that Prince Philip is already at the age of 99, Prince Harry may also have come to the realization that Prince Philip may not have many years left to enjoy with his grandchildren or great-grandchildren.

According to insiders, Prince Harry has attempted to keep in touch through video calls using the Zoom software. However, Prince Harry obviously knows there’s no substitute for spending time in person with those whom he loves. Because of that, one source told Vanity Fair magazine that, “they (Prince Harry and Meghan Markle) are all eager to get back to spend time with Harry’s family and for Archie to see his great-grandmother (Queen Elizabeth II) and great-grandfather (Prince Philip) in particular.”

Sources also suggested that Prince Harry desperately wants his grandmother to bond with his son Archie. Of course, there is probably no question that Queen Elizabeth will find Archie to be a little cutie since insiders suggest she is already smitten with the toddler from the various Zoom calls she’s conducted with Harry. However, that may not prevent her from taking Harry to task over the way he has jeopardized the image of the entire British Royal Family.

Rumors Still Linger Over Harry And Meghan’s Reality TV Show

Despite Prince Harry’s wish to take Archie back to the UK for a visit with his grandparents, other sources suggest that the new Netflix deal could put a dampener on the duke’s desires. According to some sources, even though Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have denied that there is a reality TV show about their lives in the works, the production is still a possibility.

If true, the demands of such a series, even in the preliminary stages could prevent Prince Harry and his family from realizing their hopes of a trip to the UK any time soon. Indeed, according to an insider, the reality show about Meghan and Harry is still “On.” In an interview with tabloids, that source said, “It will all be very tasteful, and not Katie Price and Peter Andre-style reality TV, but they want to give people a glimpse into their lives and see all the charity work they do.”

The source continued, noting that, “It will still be a fascinating insight and Meghan hopes viewers will get to see the real her.” All well and good for Meghan, perhaps but what about the Queen’s hopes to see her grandbaby, Archie?

It’s Not Just The Reality Show Keeping Harry From The UK

The truth is that it’s not just the purported reality TV show about Harry and Meghan or the Covid-19 pandemic keeping the duke and Meghan Markle from traveling to the UK. According to the deal that Prince Harry and Meghan made with Netflix, the couple is supposed to be putting together family and inspirational programming that includes films, documentaries, television series, and kid shows.

The heavy demands of Netflix could cause Prince Harry and Meghan to have to remain in California in order to adequately put multiple entertainment projects into active development. It’s quite likely that Meghan Markle, and perhaps Harry as well, will want to be actively involved in that with a producer’s overseeing role. If that’s the case, traveling abroad, even to see family, could be out of the question.
