There’s a new report that suggests Queen Camilla wants to be the Queen of England for as long as possible, despite the fact that her husband King Charles is currently dealing with his cancer crisis right now. One source close to the situation recently told Us Weekly in a new interview, “She loves her responsibilities. Her whole life, she has always wanted to be queen, so she doesn’t want to let it go so fast.” 

Not only that, but it also seems like Queen Camilla is hesitant to pass on her duties to Kate Middleton. The tipster added, “They’ve always had a tense relationship.”

Not only that, but it seems like Queen Camilla’s role in the monarchy may be reevaluated after her husband’s death.

Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter. Some even commented with, “For forty years, Cams has insisted she had zero interest in being Queen. All she ever wanted was to be with Charles. And now this sly revelation??”

“Also Camilla wants to hang on (to her power) as long as possible. Camilla knows what is coming at her when Willi is King.”

What’s Next For The Queen Of England?

Another critic wrote, “Right?? Finally admitting that she’s always wanted to be queen. As opposed to just wanting to support Charles in whatever title she was given.”

“Of course, she’s wanted to be queen. You don’t work that hard to snare some rando from the aristo set.”

And then there was this comment as well: “It was all nonsense: the supposedly great love story of Charles and Camilla; her alleged selflessness; her desire only to serve the country.”

“Camilla schemed from the beginning to be queen, and wasn’t afraid to cut down anyone who stood in her path: Diana, Harry, Meghan. She tossed away the real love of her life, Andrew Parker Bowles, for the chance at the crown.”

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter.
