British Royal Family News says that the public seems to be split when it comes to Camilla Parker Bowles and her brand new, shiny and improved title. As many royal fans know by now, Camilla will be known as ‘The Queen’ rather than ‘The Queen Consort’ at King Charles’ Coronation this May. Here’s what you need to know.
Royal Family News – Critics Respond To Camilla Parker Bowles’ New And Improved Title
Apparently, a lot of people are bothered that ‘consort’ is being dropped from her title and that Camilla will soon be referred to as Queen Camilla. After all, her husband is the King of England, isn’t he? But for some critics, they don’t think Camilla deserves to be called even that. Yet, others say it’s time to move past all of the homewrecking accusations.
Of course, many royal fans and critics alike certainly have had a lot to say about the matter. Many of them have taken to social media to write comments such as, “These two are almost 80 years old and Diana has been dead for nearly 30 years. Yes, Diana got the short end of the stick in this love triangle, but the heart wants what it wants.
None of them had the choice to chose love freely back then and even if they had, young people make mistakes sometimes. Camilla doesn’t deserve the homewrecker title 40 years later,” along with, “Is it a change or did Diana obsessives think that for the first time ever their King’s wife would not go by Queen? As if ol Chuckles was going to have his prized mare go by a lesser honorific when his time came. The Bris should spend less time caring about her title and more time eliminating the position.”

Another critic wrote, “Historically all queen consorts are always known as queen x y z after the coronation. This Queen Consort Camilla stuff was just to placate the rabid Diana fans and trying to win some good will towards Charles and Camilla.”
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter.
