Royal Family News: Is Meghan Markle Going To The MET Gala By Herself?

Well, talk about a very interesting turn of events. There’s a new report that suggests even though she won’t be going to King Charles’ Coronation, it seems like Meghan Markle will be attending another very important event instead and that’s the MET gala.

And not only that, but the Duchess of Sussex might be attending the fashion event by herself as Prince Harry will most likely be preparing for his trip to London. Here’s what you need to know.

According to The Mirror, one celebrity PR expert by the name of Matt Yanofsky believes that Meghan will certainly attract a lot of attention on the red carpet at the MET gala along with all of the A-list stars that will be there.

If she does attend, she will most certainly be a very controversial celebrity there along with reality television star Kim Kardashian.

Yanofsky put it this way, “Kim is famous for being famous and a controversial figure, and so is Meghan. It makes sense that Vogue would invite two controversial celebrities.”

“They guarantee press attention, which guarantees eyeballs, which guarantees advertisers money,” he added. “It may be classy, but it’s still all about the Benjamins at the end of the day.”

If that weren’t enough, PR guru Maya Riaz added that Meghan – with or without Harry – is going to be the star of the night.

She said, “The speculation that Meghan and Harry won’t receive invites to the Met Gala because of the drama surrounding them is quite frankly hilarious. When you think of the Met Gala, you think of drama. It’s synonymous with epic drama. By having Harry and Meghan at the Met Gala will certainly bring in extra headlines and maybe scrutiny too.”
