Royal Family News: Queen Elizabeth Gives Kate Middleton An Epic Honor

British royal family news divulges that Kate Middleton is one of the most popular and admired members of the UK’s royal family. The public have dubbed her the Children’s Princess for her advocacy on early childhood issues and her grace and discretion is often commented on in the media.

Queen Elizabeth has taken notice of the positive press and harmony that the Duchess of Cambridge brings to the family and she sees in Kate a, “future Queen.”

Queen Elizabeth Recognizes Kate Middleton

Royal experts told the Channel 5 documentary, Kate: Our Queen in Waiting, that Kate Middleton’s ability has not escaped the watchful eye of the current queen.

According to narrator David Riley, “Kate’s growing confidence in her royal had clearly been recognized at the highest level. The Duchess was seen wearing The Royal Family Order in 2018.”

Katie Nicholl is the royal editor at Vanity Fair and she said, “The Order itself is a yellow badge that is worn on the lapel of a dress. I think it was the Queen’s way of thanking Kate for her contribution to the Royal Family.”

Filmmaker and broadcaster Bidisha reiterated this opinion, saying, “The Queen is saying to Kate, ‘I’m going to give you these family honors to make it extremely clear that I’m a Queen, I look at you and see a future Queen.’”

Kate Middleton Has Earned Queen Elizabeth’s Approval

The Royal Family Order of Elizabeth is an honor bestowed on female members of the British royal family by Queen Elizabeth and the order is worn on formal occasions.

The order is a badge with a picture of the queen on it, laid against a bright yellow ribbon. The picture of Her Majesty in the Royal Family Order shows young Queen Elizabeth in an evening dress. In the picture she is wearing the ribbon and star of the Order of the Garter. The miniature picture is bordered by diamonds.

On the back is the royal cypher and St. Edward’s Crown in gold and enamel. The Order is worn pinned to on the left shoulder.

Queen Elizabeth Sees Kate Middleton as Queen Material

Only the most distinguished of women have worn the Order, including The Queen Mother (mother of Elizabeth), Queen Mary (grandmother of Elizabeth) and Diana, Princess of Wales (daughter-in-law of Elizabeth)

The Princess Anne (daughter of Elizabeth) and The Countess of Wessex (daughter-in-law of Elizabeth) have also worn the Order.
