It seems like Thomas Markle really doesn’t have another choice. There’s a new report that says he’s desperate to reconnect with his daughter, Meghan Markle, and of course, meet his two grandchildren.

According to the Telegraph, Thomas made it no secret that at this point he has no choice but to put out his own demands when it comes to his estranged daughter. He says that he is absolutely heartbroken that he still hasn’t met his two grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet.

In his interview with Australia’s 7News, Thomas puts it this way, “She loved me, I was her hero, and suddenly I was thrown out. She’s got to ask herself this every day ‘why am I doing this to my father?’ Is it worth dumping me for the rest of my life? Is it worth denying me my grandchildren? Is it worth all of that! Is it worth getting rid of her father?”

He then added, “It’s just very sad from a father’s perspective. It’s a huge disappointment and it’s sad every day,” and also said that he wants to meet Archie and Lilibet. Thomas said, “They’re gonna have my nose, they’re gonna have my eyes.”

What’s Next For Thomas Markle?

Needless to say, many royal critics and fans alike sure did have a lot to say about the matter. Some commented with, “Meghan is a responsible mother. Why would she want her children anywhere near that vile creature? Yet this man puts ZERO effort in trying to connect with his other grandchildren,” along with, “No grandparent is entitled to their grandchildren and no parent is entitled to their adult child.”

Another critic wrote, “It must break Meghan’s heart to see her father like this but also to know inside that he is no longer her father – she was right to mourn the loss of him when everything happened and he began betraying her. That is not what a father does to a daughter. I wish peace for all parties, and I wish whoever is doing this to Thomas would stop.”

So far Meghan Markle herself has not made any comments about the matter.
