It seems like the feud between King Charles and his younger brother Prince Andrew might have just gotten worse. That’s because the King of England wants absolutely nothing to do with the Duke of York.

But unfortunately, Andrew is not going anywhere, anytime soon as he insists that there’s still a place for him in the royal spotlight. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

For King Charles, the best thing would be if Prince Andrew would just retreat from the limelight and live a quiet life under the radar. But he doesn’t want to do that.

He still insists that he’s innocent from the smear campaign that was brought on to him thanks to his sexual assault accuser, Virginia Guiffre. He also insists that he’s done nothing wrong. But King Charles knows how negatively the public views Andew and that’s why he wants him to stay well hidden away from the public’s view.

Royal expert Michael Cole, who often has something to say about the royal family on various news programs, suggested that it might be a very long time before King Charles and Prince Andrew ever see eye to eye on certain matters, let alone be in the same room again.

In an interview with Sky News Australia, he put it this way, “Quite clearly, there’s not a great deal of love lost between the King and his younger brother. The King was never a great admirer of Andrew, even in the palmy days when they were closer to each other than they are now.”

What’s Next For King Charles And Prince Andrew?

Of course, Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter but at this point, it’s doubtful that they will. They know that all of these family feuds are a bad look for the royal family and that’s why staffers would like to see and end to them sooner rather than later. Plus, King Charles knows that he doesn’t want his legacy tainted by some tit-for-tat feud with his younger brother. That’s why he knows that it’s best to keep quiet. At least, for now.
