90 Day Fiance: Geoffrey Paschel Seemed In High Spirits On Thanksgiving

90 Day Fiance alum Varya Malina gives TLC fans feedback on Geoffrey Paschel quite often. As you can imagine, it’s not easy having a loved one locked up in prison. While some critics wish she would leave him altogether, she seems determined to stick by him as long as it takes. And, it could take many years before they are ever back together as a couple. However, he seemed to be in very high spirits on Thanksgiving. 

  90 Day Fiancé Spoilers – Alum Geoffrey Paschel Gets Respect In Prison

When TLC fans see people end up in prison, they hope that they get locked up in solitary confinement and the key gets thrown away. Fortunately for Geoffrey, the judge doesn’t have that sort of power. Back in March, he transferred from the  Knoxville County Jail to the Bledsoe County Correctional Complex. Apparently, prison sounds worse than jail, but some inmates prefer it because conditions are better. At least Geoffrey can get some exercise there. 

90 Day Fiance alum Varya Malina gave her fans some feedback and by May, it seemed he was well-settled in at the prison. Apparently, some of the guards and prisoners knew of him from the TLC TV show. So, he got a few nicknames from that, like “Superstar.” Additionally, other feedback indicates that everyone treats Geoffrey well, and he is not disrespected. In fact, he also gets to see Varya when she visits him, and there’s no big glass separating them.

On November 25, Varya took to her Instagram Stories and posted up a lot of slides. In the first one, she said, “Yesterday I spent my Thanksgiving with Geoffrey.” Actually, he pranked her and she just about died. In her story, she told fans that the room where people visit was full of prisoners, families, and guards. However, Geoffrey wasn’t there. So off she went to get a snack. With her back turned away, he snuck up behind her, “grabbed” her “shoulders, and yelled, ‘Boo.”

Continuing her story, the 90 Day Fiance, alum told her fans that she literally “screamed” with fright. But then, when she turned, she saw her guy smiling at her. She described it as his “million dollar smile.” Then, they started laughing. In fact, the guards joined in on the fun, asking Varya if she needed a “diaper.” A lot of people had turned around and stared at them, but because they laughed, it seemed that Geoffrey made everyone feel a little bit happy.

90 Day Fiance fans know that Varya Malina has been pushing a fundraiser for Geoffrey Paschel. Started by his sons, they hope to at least get his sentence reduced. Geoffrey always claimed his innocence in the assault case and took the case to trial. When that went wrong, he got a much longer prison sentence than if he had just taken a plea.
