Is it possible that David’s ex-girlfriend has met him because she’s convinced that Lana will stand him up again? Could she simply want to see if Lana is a real person and not a catfisher? David and his friend seem to be very close and she would want him to have someone to lean on if he gets disappointed again. Her meeting him at the airport would make perfect sense.
