Alaskan Bush People star Bear Brown came down off the mountain to meet his new son earlier this year. Actually, fans hoped it meant that he and Raiven had reconciled. For the sake of the kids, it seemed that they compromised after she left him. Now, he’s gone back up into the hills in Washington to continue his dad’s dream of getting something going on North Star Ranch.

The Brown family had ambitious plans for the ranch, but the property suffered a major fire in 2020. The devastating incident aired on the show and left fans in shock. Naturally, that stalled development plans, and currently, nobody lives there permanently. If you remember, Bear Brown wanted to build a cozy cabin for his wife Raiven and their sons on the ranch. Unfortunately, they separated while she was still pregnant, and as far as Discovery fans know, she remains in Texas.

Alaskan Bush People star, Bear Brown, has been active on social media, providing Cameos and Live video sessions with his fans. Recently, he’s been engaged in filming for himself as well. Additionally, he seemed eager to engage and encourage the rest of his family to get online. However, it seems unlikely that fans will see much more of him on social media for the time being. He just made a major announcement. In fact, he is planning to move permanently to the hills and valleys of the mountain ranch.

This week, Bear took to his Instagram and announced his change in lifestyle. He didn’t say why, but he’s giving up on life in town and moving “permanently” to the mountains. So, folks can’t expect to see him online much. As he explained, he doesn’t have any wifi up there. So, he will have to take a hike to get some connection. Almost completely off-grid, he said that because “gasoline is expensive,” he plans on using the generator for limited hours.

Alaskan Bush People fans naturally hope he gets his cabin finished, but they also want to see him on social media. So, they can only hope that he records his activities. Perhaps later, he will get online and post up something for them to see. During his video, he didn’t mention Raiven or his two boys. Actually, he dreamed of making a family home up there in the mountains.
