Bird Brown Reveals Her Mom Ami Is Hospitalized

Alaskan Bush People star Bird Brown often updates her Discovery fans about the family. Unfortunately, the latest news revealed that her mom, Ami Brown is in a hospital. In fact, she was airlifted from the emergency room. 

Ami Was In Poor Health

Alaskan Bush People fans worried about Ami Brown for several years. Remember, she had stage 4 cancer and the family moved away from Alaska for her treatment. While she recovered, her daughter, Bird had a cancer scare in the last season of the Discovery show. 

This week, Bear Brown shared more photos of his dad, Billy Brown in remembrance of his passing away in 2021. Really, it would devastate Alaskan Bush People fans if Amy Brown also succumbed to ill health. So, it was nice of Bird Brown to let them know her mom is unwell. 

Air-lifted From The ER

It’s not the first time that Ami Brown ended up in hospital with pneumonia. 11 months ago, the news arrived that Ami ended up in a hospital with pneumonia and she experienced breathing problems. At the time, TV Shows Ace reported that it was, once again, Bird Brown who shared the worrying news. 

Taking to her Instagram on Wednesday night, Bird said in a reel, that her mom suffered from breathing problems again. Standing outdoors, warmly dressed for the weather, the Reality TV star said, “I know you guys care about Mom a lot, so I wanted to let you guys know that mom is in the hospital.”

Pneumonia Strikes Again

The Discovery star continued, and told her followers:

She went to the emergency room late last night. And after they did some tests, they actually medivaced her to the next big…hospital. She was having some trouble breathing before she went into the emergency room. 

Bird Brown assured her followers that her mom “is okay,” adding, “But she was having issues with breathing.”  While she can’t remember everything the doctors told her, Bird said that her mom has got “Pneumonia.”
