Married at First Sight Spoilers: Recapping Last Week – The Good, The Bad and The Ugly!

Married at First Sight aired on Wednesday and we saw Katie Conrad and Derek Sherman really falling for each other. These two have shown us that they have undeniable chemistry. These newlyweds met at the altar and have quite the chemistry between them.

In episode five of Married at First Sight, things really began to heat up for them. Spending their honeymoon in Panama has been quite the experience for both of them and the other couples on the show seem to have a great time there as well.

Jessica Studer and Austin Hurd have been filling each other in on their lives and they seem to be getting more intimate as well. They took a nice walk together and told each other a lot more about their lives and likes. Things seem to be looking great for these two and we really are cheering for them.

Not All Couples Can Work

Not every couple on Married at First Sight can have a flawless relationship though. Some of the couples have had some very rocky moments and viewers are not sure if they will stay together.

Mindy Shiben and Zach Justice have had a rocky start in their new marriage. Zach has already pointed out that he has little attraction for Mindy and she is already very insecure. She told him that he doesn’t know how to communicate and seems to think that they will not work if he cannot communicate with her. We think she’s right.

Some couples hit it off really quickly like Taylor Dunklin and Brandon Reid, but then fizzle out. This couple did that too. On the third day of their marriage, they didn’t even speak to each other because Taylor was taping Brandon while he was sleeping. Eventually, they did makeup, but it was incredibly painful to watch!

Is the Honeymoon all About the Sex?

Marrying someone that you meet at first sight has shown that it has its pressures. No couple is feeling this more than Meka Jones and Michael Watson. They spent the first night married sleeping in different rooms and Michael really doubts the marriage altogether.

Leave it to Pastor Calvin Roberson to help coach Michael through it. He tells him to get to know his wife better before he starts to push having sex with her. He knows that he needs to be patient, but we see him take off his wedding ring and then Meka does as well.
