As it gets closer to Lea Dilallo (Paige Spara) giving birth, the reality of fatherhood is setting in for Shaun. He confides in Aaron Glassman (Richard Schiff) and explains what has him so terrified. For most parents, it’s the fear of making a mistake. For Shaun, it’s becoming “irrational.” Of course, the fact that Shaun is scared is actually a good thing. Parents should never be so confident that they think they will never make a mistake. Or worse, have zero fears about being a mom or dad. So, what Shaun is feeling is entirely normal and is actually a good thing.

However, there is also the issue of if Shaun will truly be able to give up control when Lea gives birth. How Shaun envisioned childbirth to be is completely different than what Lea wants. However, he is taking some good steps in the direction according to last week’s episode.

What do you think will happen with Shaun, Lea, and their upcoming arrival? When it comes time for Lea to give birth, will Shaun really be able to give up control? Do you believe that the doctors will be able to save the shooting victims? We will have to keep watching the ABC soap to find out what happens next.
