The Good Doctor fans didn’t need to wait long to find out that Season 5 comes along. In fact, the news arrived ahead of the end of Season 4 on ABC. Also, it still remains massively popular with fans. At the end of Season 4, fans saw that Dr. Shaun Murphy and Lea Dilallo married. Nobody expected that to happen in Season 4, so fans might turn their thoughts to if they make a success if it.

Fans of the popular show know that Dr, Murphy didn’t just get married, but that Lea lost a baby.  Naturally,  as a doctor who knows a lot about pregnancy and possible complications, that might weigh on his mind. David Shore, the exec producer already mentioned that they hope that Shaun doesn’t make too many mistakes. Of course, The Good Doctor doesn’t revolve around the universe of Shaun Murphy and Lea. So, plenty of other storylines likely emerge. Fans heard that Osvaldo Benavides is now a regular on the show as Dr. Mateo Rendon Osma. Actually, word has it that ABC might see a storyline that involves him with Dr. Audrey Lim (Christina Chang) in some sort of relationship. Well, it’s not the first love affair, as evidence by Shaun and Lea.

If they didn’t address those problems early they might see some friction in the future. April said they must address these issues early.

Lea’s parents seemed less than thrilled when they became engaged in the last season of The Good Doctor. Well, married and disapproving in-laws could bring some tension for Shaun and Lea. Apparently, the best way to deal with it is to look at anything objectively to ascertain if there’s any truth to their objections. If it turns out as just family drama without a basis, then people should just tell them their “truth” openly and just stand by it. That tip came from “Dr. Carla Marie Manly, a clinical psychologist.”

Extrapolating The Good Doctor drama into real life, Harvard Medical School noted that “physicians are actually less likely to be divorced than people in other occupations, including lawyers, nurses and other health care professionals.” So, Lea and Shaun at least have statistics on their side to make a happy marriage.
