They fought and feuded all the way through the most recent season of the show. On part two of the HEA tell-all, Syngin mentioned he now has a job, but a past criminal offense had made it very difficult. Here is what you need to know!

Tania and Syngin met when she took a trip to South Africa. She actually went there for someone else! She was supposed to meet the other man at the club where Syngin was bartending. She was apparently stood up, and started dancing and drinking –and talking to Syngin! She went home with him that night, and their “one night stand” turned into a two-month stay! In spite of fusses and fights and threatened divorce, they are still together according to both their social media. Her need for structure and planning versus his need for freedom and spontaneity clash, but opposites do attract!

He came back to America on a K-1 visa, although at times they have both voiced regret they rushed into things. Singin turned 30 on September 28, which ironically makes him a “balanced Libra”. Tania thinks he’s anything but balanced as far as how he conducts himself and is life! She and he even got into a fuss over what she considers to be alcoholism on the tell-all!

He made it clear he’s not giving up his beer for her and denies being an alcoholic-but then, that’s what alcoholics do. They have been forced to stay together with the quarantining, which came about after they returned to Connecticut.

TLC 90 Day Fiancé Spoilers – So What About Syngin Colchester And His Past?

Some people have noticed a resemblance to Fabio Lanzoni. Fabio was a famous male model some years ago, but he may be most famous now for having collided with a bird on a roller coaster, breaking his nose! Some things that people may not know about Syngin is that he makes jewelry! Although he says he only makes necklaces for his family and friends, many fans want him to make and sell them. He attempts to match the stones to the wearer’s soul, which certainly would be a unique talent!

Viewers know a little about his family from this past season. His mother is Charmain, his younger sister is Charys, and his brother is Dylan. Syngin is fourteen years older than Charys. Dylan works as a personal trainer. What not very many people know is that Sydney is his stepfather and that his birth father left him and his mother when Syngin was a baby. A native of Cape Town, South Africa, the Capricorn High School in Limpopo, South Africa. Syngin’s ancestry is English-Irish.

He is fluent in the Afrikaans language and worked as a miner for seven years in South Africa. He hated it, but that proves he is not afraid of hard work-mining is as hard a job as they come! He loves braai – which is South African for barbecue or cookout. He also enjoys salt and vinegar potato chips. And, Colchester is his real last name. He finds it hilarious that the town Tania is from where they live is also named Colchester! He also revealed on his Instagram how he and Tania wound up as a “90 Day Fiancé” couple.

He was watching the show with his parents and Tania, and Tania suggested they would be perfect for the show. Within a week after that conversation, they saw an ad on Facebook about “90 Day Fiancé” looking for couples, and they answered the ad.

The rest is history! As far as Syngin’s “criminal past”, it was a minor offense. He was pulled over for not wearing a seatbelt and a small amount of pot – less than a half-ounce – was found in his car. He was given a $150.00 fine – no jail time. That’s pretty tame compared to what some of the other men in the franchise have been convicted of in their pasts!
