Why Do 90 Day Fiancé Fans Think That Oussama’s Sister Is Fake?

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way fans are busy discussing Oussama Aham who is with Debbie Aguero. Actually, he’s not at all popular, and not just for his physical appearance. TLC fans are convinced that he just uses her to get a green card in the United States. But right now, fans turned their attention to his sister. Basically, they suspect that she might even be a fake character because they think that she looks nothing like him.

Like so many other TLC stars, there seems to be a focus on drama by the production team. Often, that means that the stars have a difficult time with fans slamming them on social media. Actually, in season 4, there seems to be a lot of that happening. But would TLC actually get in an actor to try and fake that someone’s related to Oussama? Perhaps that would be a stretch even for a network known to fake some episode scenes. 

90 Day Fiancé star Debbie is at odds with Oussama because she didn’t want to move in and live with his parents. Furthermore, he pretty much demanded that she takes him stateside or it’s all over. Actually, fans think she just can’t see obvious red flags. For example, one scene showed him calling her “sick,” and she didn’t like his inference that she suffers from “mental illness.”

As usual with the TLC show, a lot of drama comes from the families of the cast members. Not all of them are terrible people though. When TLC fans saw Oussama’s sister, they were a bit surprised because she looked attractive. It’s hard not to notice that Oussama has bad teeth and he’s not blessed with beauty. So, when u/CalmDirection8 shared a post on the r/90dayfiance subreddit, people started to wonder about whether she is really his sister.

The 90 Day Fiancé poster said, “So this is Oussama’s biological sister??? Allah works in mysterious ways.” In the discussion that followed, some people seemed to wonder if she could be fake. In fact, how could anyone really blame them, because she doesn’t look much like her brother at all?  However, there were some interesting comments that didn’t seem far-fetched.

90 Day Fiancé fans who talked about women looking after themselves better ran the risk of being labeled as stereotypes. However, some people mentioned it anyway.

U/Kaleidoscope568 opined, “Oussama and his sister both look like their parents. Daughter and mom’s teeth seem healthier. My feel ( a stereotype?) women care more about their health and physical appearance than men do. Even In Morocco.”

Another member of the community seemed to confirm it in their comment. U/anjealka said, “…my husband grew up in a large religious family (in the US), the sisters all got braces, the brothers did not. My husband said it was common with other families too. You wanted your daughters to be pretty to attract a spouse. Sons could have scars…crooked teeth, [and] a bad haircut.”
