The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of August 21 reveal that a brand-new weekly preview clip has been released. It is all about “Skyle” as Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) is ready to file for divorce.

Y&R spoilers reveal that fans have wondered what the hold up is with Kyle and Summer’s divorce. One fan even had their question published in Soap Opera Digest magazine.

Well, while Kyle has been playing with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), Summer has been riding rollercoasters and getting advice from Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd).

In the weekly preview clip, Summer will go to Kyle with a request. That request is for them to get a divorce. Summer might not be able to fully move on until this chapter closes. Even though Kyle and Summer still love each other, sometimes that just isn’t enough.

During the week of August 21, fans can expect Summer and Kyle to sit down with Harrison. Even though Harrison already knows Summer has moved out, he might not realize that a divorce is ahead.
