Y&R Spoilers – Falling Apart

On Monday’s episode, Abby will begin falling apart as she is asked to identify Chance’s wedding band. Abby confirms that the wedding ring definitely belongs to Chance. Then, Christine explains that being married was part of Chance’s cover, so he would never have taken it off.

This is when Abby suddenly collapses and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is there to catch her before she crumples to the floor.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that co-executive producer and head writer Josh Griffith spoke to Soap Opera Digest about the storyline. The scribe explained that everyone will try to help Abby get through this crisis. This includes Victor, Ashley, Christine, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). However, the more that they try to help Abby, the worst things get.

“Victor and Ashley do their best do their best to comfort Abby while also being honest with her but Abby is in a state of shock. She cannot believe the life she imagined with Chance is not going to happen.”

It is already hinted that Chance might be recast. Until Chance returns, Abby will have to deal with his death, which includes planning a funeral. Despite Abby having an extremely tough year, things will get worse before they get better. Abby’s grief will intensify and she will make some unexpected decisions.
