Y&R spoilers reveal that fans just learned what happened after Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) crashed her car. Victoria survived and interestingly enough, Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) was her hero. Unfortunately, Rey passes away in the accident. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) was the one to tell Sharon the news. Sharon is trying to cope with the loss while telling Rey’s family about the tragic death.

During the week of April 18, Sharon calls Rey’s mother to tell her the news. Sharon explains that she will handle the funeral arrangements on her head. However, Rey’s mother about her wishes. Apparently, Sharon is expected to allow Rey’s body to be sent to the Rosales’ family. Sharon didn’t argue with Rey’s mother, but it clearly upset her.
Then, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) announced they would postpone their wedding. After all, it wouldn’t be appropriate under the circumstances. However, Sharon exploded and loudly demanded that the wedding continue as planned. So, Sharon is clearly already spiraling mentally.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that everyone in Genoa City is learning about Rey’s death. The one thing that everyone keeps saying is that it was a tragic accident and it’s nobody’s fault.
However, in soaps, that usually means someone is at fault. Plus, with Ashland crying alone in his hotel room as he flashed back to almost losing Victoria, could that be a clue? Is someone at fault for the accident? Could Rey have survived if someone didn’t step in and snuff out his life? It’s looking more likely that Ashland did something despicable.

As for what is next for Sharon, SoapDirt reported that a set inside confirmed what is next for Sharon. Nick and Sharon have been spending a lot of time together, which has fans suspecting they could get back together. If the soap insider is right, then Nick and Sharon will reignite their romance.

With Nick supporting Sharon while she grieves Rey, it only makes sense that the two would get even closer. Plus, Nick has been confiding in Sharon about the situation with Victoria, Ashland, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). However, no relationship in soaps is without conflict. So, we must wonder who or what could try to interfere with the upcoming romance? We will have to keep watching the CBS soap to find out.

Sharon needs to catch her breath and heal before starting a new romance!!
Sharon shouldn't rush into anything. Sharon and her family are just about the only thing that actually represents a modern family and the only often enjoyable holiday episodes as most of it is misery and big arguments in the other families. I would like to see Sharon and her family keep their mostly positive vibe. A family can have interesting stories without it all being doom and gloom and I would like to see this family keep it entertaining without all the misery.
After grieving, I would like to see Nick and Sharon renew their love.
Nick if they can stay together.
Let her be alone for awhile, before putting her with someone. Later slowly let her and nick make their way back to each other. But only if you let them be stronger and love each other in a lasting-way just like Victor and Nickie. They have been threw a lot together, and have a long past of good and mostly bad times together, that the good times out way. So only put them together if they can stay together and influnce the younger generation that is comming up on the show. Victor and Nickie are getting older. We need a smart and loving couple like them , a chip off the old block.
That the younger Married couples can last with time and endurance.

I always wanted Adam with Sharon because she's the only one that doesn't condone his Hatred for his father and siblings, they can make each others happy, even though I don't have a problem with Nick
Sharon should be alone for a while, sure her and Nick been spending more time together, friends do that and that is all he is to her and he is her ex just leave it

I do agree with you. Nick and Sharon have been thru so much, let them fine their way back to each other and stay together for good like Victora and Nikki.
Sharon will grieve for her late husband, which is normal, but Nick can be there for her doing that time as a very good friend, and it could lead them back together.
You have very good reasoning for the way it could work out.
