The ever-charming and sporadically reckless legacy character walked away from the love of his life, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), in the recent past. That move wasn’t logical, or based on anything specific she’d done. Instead, Billy decided that she wasn’t allowing him to be his authentic self, which represented yet another self-involved choice.

Lily and Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) were split for reasons that weren’t voluntary, meaning that Goddard didn’t leave the show on his own. His longtime regular status contract wasn’t renewed, which naturally surprised and saddened the actor and his many fans.

So, Lane was over, leaving Lily single with no intention of reviving that marriage. Y&R wrote the twins, Mattie Ashby (Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie Ashby (Noah Alexander Gerry), out of the show by having them move away to college approximately a year ago.

The above meant that the Winters’ family, which once included Kristoff St. John (Neil Winters), Drucilla Winters (Victoria Rowell), and other connected family members were now focused on one generation. Young And The Restless Spoilers – Billy Abbott Needs A Stabilizer

Billy doesn’t do well on his own. That’s why his mother, Jill Fenmore (Jess Walton), purposely asked Lily to co-head Chance Com. She was intended as the business stabilizer, with the audience seeing the clear wink at the potential for romance as well.

There is an unexpected element that could fuel a BiLily connection, or create tension as part of a triangle with a proposed Bamanda coupling. Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) was just dumped by Nate and then learned that he has a romantic interest in Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy).

Either Lily or Amanda would likely provide the same type of stabilizing influence in Billy’s life that Victoria often offered. He’s unlikely to rest until he becomes involved with Lily, Amanda, or someone who has a similarly strong persona.

While Amanda likes Nate and finds him attractive, he doesn’t compare to Billy, who she clearly has a crush on. Billy’s initial attempts to get to know her, after she arrived in town, weren’t blocked. That response was the signal that Bamanda was possible if both sides worked toward it happening.

Billy is the opposite of Amanda’s buttoned-up personality, which is a major draw. She represents a completely fresh start for him, due to her backstory. But Devon might attract her interest now that he could split from Elena and Amanda is fully pursuing details about her past that is genetically linked to Hilary Hamilton (Morgan).
