Viewers of The Young and The Restless can imagine that Mariah feels like she’s in a more luxury version of solitary confinement in a prison! Mariah is grappling with fear of the unknown, and talks to the baby, but her situation is starting to take a toll.

Y&R Spoilers – Mariah Copeland Doesn’t Know Why She Is Being Held Captive

In the past several weeks on The Young and The Restless, whoever Mariah’s captor is has her cell phone, and recent episodes of The Young and The Restless have revealed that the captor has access to high tech equipment to block and scramble her cell phone’s location. In the meantime, her friends and loved ones have become increasingly worried – especially her partner Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks).

Mariah doesn’t know why she is being held captive, and she worries if her friends and loved ones and family are being contacted for a ransom. Mariah knows she has to keep it together and not become stressed out because stress is not good for the baby. She’s missed at least one prenatal checkup and she is concerned over that as well.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Mariah Copeland Found A Hidden Camera, Which She Covered

In a recent episode of The Young and The Restless, Mariah found a hidden camera, which she covered up with a cloth. She has been hoping that whoever is holding her in this room will come in the room to see what happened to their surveillance, so she can see who it is and try to reason with him or her. She can reasonably presume that if the person has not harmed her so far, there would be no reason to do so now. But Mariah cannot keep her mind off of the why – why is she being held? What does her captor or captors want with her, or with her family and loved ones?

Y&R Spoilers – What If She Goes Into Labor?

The Young and The Restless fans can imagine, probably the worst fear that Mariah has is what happens if she goes into labor? She is coming closer and closer to her due date and has not been able to keep her prenatal appointments so she has no idea if the baby is okay or not, other than feeling his kicks and his responses to her belly touches. She is sure to continue those, so that she knows at least he is still alive. But what if something goes wrong?

What happens if he is breech position and she cannot cry out for help? There is no way to communicate with anyone and so far, she has not gotten anyone’s attention. Viewers of The Young and The Restless know that if someone does not find and rescue her soon, that could be a very real possibility!
