The Young and The Restless spoilers and rumors tease that viewers of The Young and The Restless might see Noah and Faith Newman (Rory Gibson, Reylynn Caster) push their parents, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) back together in a parent trap once Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) exits Genoa City in future episodes of The Young and The Restless!

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will no doubt have heard that Rey’s portrayer, Jordi Vilasuso has been let go from The Young and The Restless – or rather, his contract was not renewed. This will leave no members of the Rosales family currently on the show, although nothing has been leaked so far about how Rey will be written out.

However, with Sharon’s husband no longer in the picture, and Nick single, viewers of The Young and The Restless won’t be surprised if their two children together, Noah and Faith don’t push their parents back together! Sharon has been concerned about Noah’s love life – or lack thereof recently and so has Nick, although Sharon’s been much more concerned. Viewers can assume however Rey exits, whether the character is killed off or breaks up with Sharon again, she’ll be single and unattached and roles will be reversed with Noah possibly being concerned about her love life!

Y&R Spoilers – Y & R Mirrored Its Sister Soap By Bringing Back A Female Villain And May Mirror It By Creating A Parent Trap!

The Young and The Restless has mirrored its sister soap, The Bold and The Beautiful by bringing back a female villain who was thought to be dead! Sinister Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) showed up on The Bold and The Beautiful several months ago, and this month Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) also a female villain has shown up alive!

The Bold and The Beautiful has been featuring two adult children trying to push their divorced parents back together in a parent trap, and with Rey’s exit from The Young and The Restless, they may be mirroring again with Noah and Faith pushing Sharon and Nick together! Whatever happens with Rey, viewers can expect it to be sudden and possibly unexpected, and if the character is killed off, that will leave a devastated Sharon with an unattached Nick to help her put together the pieces!

Longtime Y & R Fans Have Wanted Sharon Rosales And Nick Newman To Reunite

Longtime fans of The Young and The Restless have expressed their interest in Nick and Sharon reuniting, this time for good – with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) more involved with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and his life now, it could be possible. For many years, Phyllis was the competition for Nick’s heart and he was married to her a couple of times and to Sharon a couple or so times, the only other time he was married was to Sage Warner (Kelly Sullivan) and she died.

Nick also was involved with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) for a short time, but she returned to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) as a result of another parent trap perpetrated by Connor Newman (Judah Mackey)! Viewers of The Young and The Restless know Adam is pretty set in stone with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) so once Rey is gone, that leaves no one to mess between Nick and Sharon and hindering Noah and Faith’s parent trap!
