The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal the return of a very married Summer and Kyle Abbott. They may have married off-screen in Italy, but we’ll see them on-screen for Victoria’s ill-conceived Italian wedding.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Fan Favorites Come Home — Sort Of

Genoa City citizens descend on Italy this week, even those who were already there like Summer and Kyle. Hunter King and Michael Mealor may have left the show on a permanent basis but they make an appearance for this occasion and say it was just like coming home.

“It’s like going back to high school after a summer break,” Mealor said in the October 19 issue of Soap Opera Digest. “You’re excited to see everybody and all of the stress washes away for a little while. You walk in and it’s nothing but fun and joy and happiness because it’s like coming home.”

Hunter King had her own thoughts on the return that are similar to Mealor’s. “The days have gone by so slowly since I was last there but as soon as I stepped into the building, it was like yesterday. I have so many friends between the crew and the actors, so it felt nice to be back.”

Y&R Spoilers – Michael Mealor And Hunter King Miss One Thing The Most

While it’s only been a few months since we last saw Summer and Kyle in GC, the actors are already missing it, but still want to move on. However, there’s one aspect of being on The Young and the Restless that each one will always treasure and that’s the passion of soap fans.

“For me, they’re truly inspiring,” Mealor said. “Something we did resonated in their hearts and that’s such an amazing thing to me because that’s the goal when you’re telling stories. Hunter and I had this job to tell a story that could touch people and I’m grateful that we succeeded.”
