Unfortunately, the specialists will agree with Abby’s doctor that she can’t carry a baby to term. Victor will think that there might be another option, and Chance (Donny Boaz) will agree but he’ll think that Abby needs some rest. Once again Nikki, Sharon and Faith delivered a really believable, brilliant performance. Their family dynamic feels so realistic with so much love tangled with the complexities of family situations, I really enjoyed their scenes today.
It is nice to see this caring side of Victor. I can see how someone as strong and independent as chance might feel some of Victors behaviour might be overstepping and not leaving room for them to make their personal decisions as a couple. That's also believable, parents can sometimes with the best intentions do this. I like it but I hope these stories don't go too far, I don't want to see Victor constantly showing up being the family medical provider.
It's been nice to see how the grandparents in a family play such an important role in a families support system, they don't often get enough acknowledgement.
