The Young And The Restless Spoilers Tuesday, January 5: Victor Comes Through For Adam – Amanda Talks To Naya – Summer Heads To LA

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, January 5, tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will discuss ideas for their new story at Chancellor Communications. Billy will still want Lily to be the focus of the story, but Amanda will say that Billy should be the focus of the exposé.

Lily will think it’s a great idea, and Billy (Jason Thompson) will eventually agree to having most of the focus be on him. Billy will head out to get his writers started on the piece, while Lily asks Amanda if she’d doing ok since she seems distant. Amanda (Mishael Morgan) will ask Lily for some advice, then she’ll invite her out for coffee to discuss what’s been going on in her life.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Pulls Some Strings For Adam Newman

Next on Y&R, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will return home from their Christmas trip and stop into see Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) at Newman Enterprises. Victoria will say that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) had a stroke, and Victor will express concern for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), immediately trying to call his son.

A short time later, Victor will arrive at Adam’s penthouse to do anything he can to help Adam. Adam will share that he can’t get into visit Chelsea because of the risk of infection, and Victor will immediately get on the phone and pull some strings. Adam will then head over to the hospital, where he’ll be able to see Chelsea, who can’t move or speak, and who can only look at Adam motionlessly.

Y&R Restless Spoilers – Sally Spectra Makes Nice With Kyle Abbott

Meanwhile, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will talk with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) at Society. Sally will lament about how things just aren’t going well between herself and Summer Newman (Hunter King). Sally will tell Kyle that she’s not interested in the Jabot Collective position or in him romantically, and Kyle will seemingly be convinced that Sally means no harm.

Over at Jabot, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will broach to topic of Sally with Summer. Jack will say that Sally just feels insecure, and that Summer should really give Sally a chance since Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) appeared to start this whole mess with his meddling. Summer won’t really buy it, but she’ll humor Jack.

Next on Y&R, Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman), Sally, and Jack will finish up a meeting at Jabot and Jack will take a moment to address the animosity between Sally and Summer. Jack will share that he spoke with Summer earlier, and that Summer is open to talking things through with Sally. Sally will thank Jack for having her back, and once Sally is gone, Jack and Lauren will wonder what prompted Sally to move to Genoa City from Los Angeles.

Summer will then head to Society, where she’ll dine with Kyle. Summer will hear about Kyle’s previous conversation with Sally, and she’ll be upset that both Jack and Kyle want her to accept Sally despite her gut feelings. Just then, Sally will text Summer about meeting to clear the air, and Summer will agree to meet Sally for coffee.

Y&R Spoilers – Billy Abbott Has Victoria Newman’s Number

Meanwhile, Billy will talk to Victoria at Society, and the topic of Billy’s Christmas Eve trip with Lily will come up. Billy will share that he canceled the trip, and he’ll fish to see if Victoria is trying to use the kids to interfere in his relationship with Lily. Victoria will deny the accusation a little too strenuously, and Billy will seem to deduce that he’s spot on with his suspicion about Victoria.

Over at Crimson Lights, Amanda and Lily will drink coffee and talk. Amanda will open up about going to Wilmette and seeing her birth mom Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey). Lily will say that she agrees with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) that Amanda should seek answers from Naya.

Next on Y&R, Sally and Summer will have coffee at Crimson Lights. Sally will try to make nice with Summer, apologizing for her behavior before. Sally will insist that she’s not after Summer’s job or Kyle. Summer will listen and make comments here and there as if she agrees with Sally, but Sally will be coming on way too strong and Summer will be suspicious.

Summer will then go back to Jabot, where she’ll find Kyle and tell him that she’s sure that Sally’s up to something because she laid it on a little too thick. Summer will say that she’s going to keep her eye on Sally, and that she’s headed to Los Angeles with her best Forrester outfits to get information on Sally.

Y&R Spoilers – Amanda Sinclair Makes A Difficult Phone Call

Finally, on Tuesday’s new episode of Y&R, Amanda will go back to her room at the Grand Phoenix, where she’ll pick up her phone and call Naya. Naya will answer, and Amanda will tearfully tell her birth mom that she’s one of the twin daughters that Naya gave up. Naya will look floored.
