The Young and the Restless (Y&R) Spoilers Thursday, February 25: Abby Accepts Devon’s Offer – Amanda Gets Protective – Faith Goes To Live With Nick

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, February 25, tease that in Genoa City, Wisconsin Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will have another visit, despite the last one ending badly. Amanda still won’t be happy about Naya wanting to keep their visits secret from her family, but she’ll make do, and their visit will go well until Amanda wonders if Naya would do anything differently. Naya will say that she doesn’t know how to answer the question.
Amanda won’t like that, but she’ll get over it, and Naya will indicate that she wants to have more visits to get to know Amanda better. Across town at Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) house, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will come to get Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) as she goes to live with him for a while.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nick Newman Lays Down The Law
While Faith is out of the room, Nick and Sharon will talk about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and about how he stopped by the house last night. Nick won’t like the sound of that, and he’ll urge Sharon to find a way to reach out to both Faith and to Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and work things out. Before Nick and Faith leave, Nick will confiscate Faith’s phone, asking her to fork over the names of her bullies.
Faith will refuse to name names, and Nick will say that Faith is getting a new phone and a new phone number. Nick and Faith will go to the Grand Phoenix, where Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will treat Faith to a spa day, which will be a nice surprise for Faith. Nick will tell Phyllis that he’s hanging onto Faith’s old phone in the hopes that he catches Faith’s bullies.
Y&R Spoilers – Devon Hamilton Gets Good News
Next on Y&R, Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) will discuss issues of race and what it would be like to raise a biracial child if Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) were to be her donor. Abby will express that she wants Devon to be a part of the baby’s life, and she’ll think that Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) would give her blessing on the situation.
Abby will call Devon over to the mansion, and after talking about how they’d all foster a healthy and supportive environment for the baby, Abby will tell Devon that she wants him to be a part of the baby’s life. Devon will be truly touched, and he’ll say that he wants that very much. Abby will officially accept Devon’s offer.
Soon, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will stop by, and they’ll all toast to the new little Chancellor baby who will soon be on the way. Abby and Nina will tell Mariah and Devon that everyone will need their own lawyer and contract for the surrogacy, so that everyone’s interested are well-defined and protected.

Next on Y&R, Mariah will go over to Crimson Lights where she’ll find Sharon working. Sharon will lament about Faith going to live with Nick, and soon talk will turn to Devon being the donor for Abby and Chance Chancellor’s (Donny Boaz) baby. Sharon will then get a message from Rey saying that he would like to talk after work tonight. Sharon will hope that she can get through to Rey.

Finally, on the Thursday’s new episode of Y&R, Devon will meet with Amanda at the Grand Phoenix. Devon will hear about Amanda’s meeting with Naya, and he’ll share that Abby accepted his proposal to be her sperm donor. Amanda will school Devon about contractual issues related to his donation, and she’ll insist that everything get spelled out in a contract to protect him.

Abby's story is really stupid. She's shopping for this baby like buying a new duvet! The Husband who has gone off to work in the midst of Abby meltdown over an "I want a baby now" accompanied by endless sniveling and brattish tears. The promising story soon becoming spoiled rich girl who can't wait for anything once she wants it like it's a designer purse! So suddenly doting Chance bolts with a "choose anything you like honey from the catalogue!". Who chooses and makes this sort decision without their partner!! Now there is the race situation. It is beautiful Devon, Abby, Mariah etc are going down this path but this really is a situation where Chance should be involved. He's to be the father of a baby who is totally left out of the loop! Everyone is part of the process but him! Wouldn't any father struggle to connect with their child if mommy is treating the situation like it's buying home decor! No partner would want a child just presented to them like your partner had shopped around breeders etc like buying a pedigree puppy. Shall we have a long haired, black, white, eyes umm I think I'll have green, blue and brown are soo last year! It's a disgusting portrayal of how to choose the pedigree, desiner baby. This story is rediculous.
I loved the lady working in the Grand Pheonix finally got some lines with Nick. Now if she could please have a different dress to wear. I wonder if she is sick of wearing it, she's had it on for months now. I think she deserves a new outfit, she's the only one trying to make that place looks like it's actually a professional hotel.
