Young & The Restless Spoilers – The More Time Adam Newman And Chelsea Lawson Spend Together, The More Their Old Feelings Come To The Surface

Even though Chelsea moved in with Adam because of their young son Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) emotional problems, and she keeps reassuring Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) that she still loves him and wants to be with him, she appears to be torn between her feelings for Nick and trying to deny to herself – and Adam – that she still has feelings for him as well.

Adam and Chelsea were happily married before he went missing and was presumed dead, and Connor, although he was very small at the time, remembers his happy family, which he is trying desperately to recapture and revive. Adam and Chelsea know they should tell Connor that Mommy and Daddy are not living together permanently and yet both of them seem to delay that inevitable talk. But Adam can tell that the more he and Chelsea are together, the more his old feelings for her resurface, and he can sense that hers for him are as well, no matter how much she denies it!

Y&R Spoilers – Adam Newman And Chelsea Lawson Bond Over A Kitten They and Connor Newman Rescue

On Christmas, Adam, Chelsea, and Connor are outside and find a tiny kitten shivering and nearly frozen. They rescue the kitten, who Connor decides to call “Oliver” and tries feed it a dish of milk, and Connor refuses to give up the kitten so they decide to keep it instead of taking it to an animal rescue or shelter. Adam and Chelsea really start to bond while they are nursing the tiny furball, although they can’t talk about it in front of Connor since they don’t want to get his hopes up that they truly are reconciling in a more permanent way.

At first they don’t think he’ll make it, but then he wakes up and starts to purr, and Connor is more comfortable about taking him out in the cold again to take him to the emergency vet. Chelsea is glad she stayed and that they were able to save the kitten’s life for Connor. Then Adam pulls her into a passionate kiss, and they are both surprised at her response! She makes herself pull away because she has to go to a New Year’s Eve party with Nick that Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) is putting on at Society.

Adam advises her that he was also invited so they will go together, even if they go separate ways while at the party itself. He tells Chelsea he knows it will be a little awkward for her since they two just kissed and she’s supposed to be with Nick for the evening, but she gets over it and they go to the party.
