Young and the Restless Spoilers for Friday, January 11: Nikki Confesses – Memorial Service Mayhem – Rey And Sharon Stranded At Motel

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) begins with JT’s memorial and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) interrupts Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), saying they are all fond of JT as the man he used to be, but she feels they need to be honest with each other, once and for all.

Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) and Arturo (Jason Canela) cuddle under the blanket, where she keeps encouraging him to get closer to create some heat. Sharon (Sharon Case) and Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) are driving through a snow storm, when Rey hits a patch if ice; telling Sharon to hold on.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phyllis Interrupts Memorial

Billy (Jason Thompson) isn’t sure of Phyllis’ end game as they all know how complicated JT was. Phyllis doesn’t like that everyone is praising JT and feels it is time they all speak the truth, wanting to know why everyone is afraid of the truth. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) wants Nick (Joshua Morrow) to escort Phyllis out of the house, but Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) wants to know the entire truth about his father.

Rey is unable to start the car after they skid on black ice. Meanwhile Mia takes a walk down memory lane, as she is wrapped up in his arms. They talk about how Arturo was a troublemaker and Rey was like a cop before he ever put on a badge. She compliments him, saying they are both great guys in her life; but really wishes she could have two husbands. Arturo says he has a really good thing going with Abby (Melissa Ordway), while Mia admits it is nice to be with the one you’re supposed to be with.

Phyllis says she can praise JT, but there was something far darker, even worse than his battles with Victor (Eric Braeden). Traci (Beth Maitland) demands to know what they don’t already know about JT and Phyllis reveals JT emotionally and physically abused Victoria.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phyllis Exposes JT’s Abuse

Reed is shocked, feeling she is lying and begs his mom to tell him the truth; but Victoria tells him she never wanted him to find out about it, especially like this. Reed grabs JT’s photo and smashes it, storming off while Nick, Victoria and Billy stare furiously at Phyllis.

Rey and Sharon check into a motel, but there is no light in the room. She tells him they will stretch out and relax in their beds and go back to the car in the morning; but when she turns on the light, they both see one bed. Back at Victoria’s, Nick replaces the photo, thanking everyone for being there with their kind words and thoughts, asking them all to be careful on the bad roads.

Victoria stops them, saying she has kept quiet long enough. She didn’t want any of them to find this out, blaming Phyllis for telling Reed in the most public and painful way possible so now there is no point in keeping this a secret anymore. She admits she doesn’t think JT loved her as love doesn’t hurt like that.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victoria And Mack Bond Over Abuse

Mackenzie (Kelly Kruger) covers her mouth as Victoria explains that no one knows what happens behind closed doors and the more people talk about it, there is less shame. Mack joins Victoria, revealing that part of her mourns the loss of JT but a bigger part of her finally feels safe. She holds Victoria, saying they will get through this.

Sharon makes calls to be sure Faith is taken care of and will see them in the morning. She suggests Rey to call Mia as he explains if she isn’t frozen solid because she isn’t used to these winters. Mia tells Arturo to give her heat before she gives him her ice cold feet.

Rey calls her, revealing he won’t be home until tomorrow and explains the accident and can’t get back to the car until light in the morning. Mia is glad is okay; both exchanging “I love yous” as Rey tells Sharon that he hates lying to Mia. He worries Mia will see through his words, as Mia tells Arturo its not like they did anything wrong but he feels like they did.

Mack talks to Traci and Victoria about the emotional abuse they endured from JT. Traci wishes she would have known so she could have reached him somehow. She had no idea it had gotten this bad; all worried about Reed, but Victoria promises they will get through it. Mack and Victoria promise to bury the past and move on, burying the bad with him.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nikki Freaks On Phyllis

Nikki angrily tells Phyllis she had no right to do that as she felt she was justified and suggests if Nikki is going to continue carrying on like this, she is going to put them all into prison. Phyllis tells her to lock in the story unless she can keep Phyllis out of the story; she may not have been abused by JT but she hasn’t had a good night sleep since he died.

Mia wants to talk to Arturo, saying there is nothing they can talk about but his friend made it through the snow and will fix the furnace to get out of there in no time. Mia thanks him, but it is clear he feels extremely guilty.

Rey plans on sleeping on the chair while Sharon takes the bed. Sharon removes her dress, calling Rey “old fashioned” but he prefers hero and gentleman. She climbs into bed and then scoffs at him, while he undresses himself. She jokes that she snores like a chainsaw; turns off the light and closes her eyes.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Rey And Sharon Stranded At Motel

Rey learns from Sharon that she is all wound up, talking about being in a slumber party. It is too early to sleep, asking him if there is any idea on how they can pass the time. He smirks at her and she throws a pillow at him as he claims it for himself. He reminds her that life isn’t fair as she says she is plotting her revenge, wondering if they will get any sleep tonight. Rey tells her by his calculations, “No!” She wants to know what he wants to do.

Cane (Daniel Goddard) approaches Victoria with Maddie (Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry); they are heading home but Maddie wants Reed to know they are thinking of him. The kids go to retrieve Cane’s coat as he apologizes for what he said about JT the other day, as he had no idea that JT hurt her in any way. Nick doesn’t know what to say to Phyllis, feeling this was her way of getting payback to his sister for slapping her. He demands that Phyllis explain herself and she can’t. Nick says he is going to take his mom home and he will see Phyllis when he sees her.

Billy stops Phyllis before she can leave, saying, “Just when I thought you couldn’t get any worse; you pull another trick from your sleeve!” Abby stares down Phyllis until she leaves the house, then talks to Victoria, calling her “amazing” and will check on her later. Reed comes back down wanting answers, asking Nikki if she wants to say what she was trying to say earlier.

Victoria admits that JT was abusive only to her, not him nor the kids. Reed feels if Victoria got hurt, they all did and it was also JT’s job to protect the kids too. Victoria reveals how physical JT got with her, hugging and reminding him that there was nothing he could have done and now that JT is gone, everything will get better; but he is clearly broken inside.

Arturo fixes the furnace as Mia quickly embraces him, saying he has magic in those hands. He wants her to call Sharon to cancel the emergency repair man she called. Rey wishes Sharon would have told him she was at the memorial service but glad she came as he needed her. She admits she loves her job. He says they make a good team since he has the looks and the brains. He confronts her again on her claim that Victor is wrongly charged.

Sharon’s phone rings and Rey tells her not to answer it. Arturo attempts to call Sharon’s landline, and he learns she is gone and needs to cancel the handyman. He says Mariah (Camryn Grimes) is there and will take care of it but revealed that Sharon is stuck with Rey; Mia is furious at how small the world is. Mia doesn’t need proof as she thought she knew her husband, but Arturo said if they wanted to hook up they would have gotten a hotel room in town.

Mia reveals that Rey wants Sharon, but Arturo assures her Rey would never step out on her. She is angry that she believed every lie he told her and feels Rey is only pretending to love her and only going through the motions. He doesn’t want her, only Sharon. Arturo tries to comfort her as she cries.

Sharon worries about Rey not finding a soft spot in the bed and calls him to climb into bed with her; promising to keep her hands to herself.

Victoria returns to Billy, saying Reed only needs time. Billy feels guilty for all of it, as he had no clue it would end like this. Victoria feels bad for never telling him as he wishes he could have done something to stop JT. He doesn’t want Victoria blaming herself for anything as she explains how scared she was when JT threw her around like she was nothing and she kept taking him back, giving him another chance. Billy is furious at the thought of JT putting his hands around Victoria’s neck and says he wishes he was still alive so he could kill him himself!

Billy gives Victoria some wine as they agree Phyllis was completely out of line. Victoria believes she would have never told Reed the truth about JT, but Billy feels she would have. He tells Victoria he is very proud of her and handled herself very well. She believes it’s having the right person in her corner and it has been a long time since she can count on someone and trust them. Billy says she matters to him, as they talk about how much fun it is; both glad he is there. She admits she still loves him.

Rey and Sharon lie awake in bed as she wishes him sweet dreams. Abby returns home, looking at Arturo’s photo and smiling. Mia talks to Arturo, wondering what Sharon and Rey are doing. Arturo is certain this is not the Rey he knows; but she feels this is the monster she might have created after cheating on Rey, believing she may have pushed him into her arms and this is karma. Arturo is certain everything will be okay as the Mia he knows always lands on her feet. He continues to compliment her, but stops just before he kisses her; saying he is sorry and they cannot do this.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nikki Confesses To Nick

Nikki worries about leaving Victoria, but Nick says Billy is there and they will work it out with Reed. Nick wants to stay with his mom, but she reassures him she will be okay. He reminds her to call him if she needs anything; but before he can leave she spots a fire poker lying in front of the fire and tells Nick it is the murder weapon – JT’s murder weapon and says she knows because she is the one who killed JT!
