Young And The Restless Spoilers: With No Paul Around, Is A Cricket/Danny Reunion On The Horizon?

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal some major drama during the show’s 50th-anniversary celebration. From the sounds of it, the two-week-long event will be filled with familiar faces and plenty of ups and downs. One major character return will be Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian). Could he experience a little romance during his next Genoa City comeback?

Y&R spoilers suggest that old character returns will start the week of March 20th. Fans recently saw Danny come back for some holiday fun in December 2022. During that time, there were plenty of flashbacks of his incredible love affair with Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell), and the two had a brief reunion at Crimson together where they “caught up”.

There are clearly still feelings between the two exes and plenty of chemistry. While Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) is technically still in the picture, the actor is no longer with the soap; therefore, he won’t be at the bicentennial gala. However, Cricket will likely be there. Could Danny and Christine cross a line?

Y&R Spoilers – Danny & Cricket Reuniting Could Creating Closure For Paul Williams 

There’s a good chance that Danny and Cricket could share something special at the gala. If they do, Christine may realize she still has feelings for the rockstar and break things off with Paul to be with Romalotti. While the “breakup” would happen offscreen, as actor Davidson isn’t on the soap anymore, this could provide closure for fans of Paul Williams. After all, there was no real exit storyline for Paul; he simply stopped being on canvas, without any real explanation.

If Cricket decides she wants to be with Danny, this could create a domino effect where Williams decides to leave town, to allow for a Danny and Christine romantic reunion. As Christine has a recurring role with the soap, and since Danny has no issuing popping up onscreen now and again, this relationship may work better for the show and storylines than the Paul-Christine coupling.
