The following day, news surfaced that the actor had experienced a “heart related incident” and is now in stable condition. He is still receiving medical treatment following the incident.

Bob Odenkirk Receives Treatment For A Heart-Related Condition

On Tuesday, TMZ broke the news that the award-winning actor has been rushed to the hospital following an incident on the set. Per the news, the actor was shooting a scene with other cast members in New Mexico before he collapsed. According to production sources, Bob was immediately surrounded by both cast and crew when he fell, and was hurriedly rushed to the hospital.

The Breaking Bad alum was taken to the hospital after crew members called an ambulance around 11:34 a.m., per the statement released by law enforcement sources via TMZ. Additionally, a close friend to Bob confirmed to E! News that he is still receiving treatment.

Media outlets have reached out to Bob Odenkirk’s representatives for additional comment. Odenkirk was in the midst of filming the fan-favorite series sixth season, which airs on ABC, before the health scare.

Bob’s Breaking Bad co-star Bryan Cranston asked for prayers for his friend in the hospital on Wednesday, July 28. “Today I woke up to news that has made me anxious all morning. My friend, Bob Odenkirk collapsed last night on the set of Better Call Saul,” he shared on Instagram. “He is in the hospital in Albuquerque and receiving the medical attention he needs but his condition is not known to the public as yet. Please take a moment in your day today to think about him and send positive thoughts and prayers his way, thank you.”

Better Call Saul star Michael Mando tweeted: “Last night our dear Bob was rushed to the hospital after he collapsed on stage. Send all your positive energy and love to him and his family — let’s hope to have him back as soon as possible. I love u so much, my friend xo.”

Aaron Paul, Bob’s co-star on the hit series Breaking Bad, shared a picture of the star on Wednesday, writing: “I love you my friend.”

Many close friends and co-stars addressed the star’s hospitalization online, with David Cross saying, “He WILL get through this.”
