Coronation Street spoilers for the week of February 22 reveal that Simon Barlow (Alex Bain) will continue to get in deeper trouble. The drug situation doesn’t just affect him, though. Young Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) gets caught in the crossfire. Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) makes a scene at the funeral and Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King) spirals as things get worse for her.

Corrie spoilers reveal that Simon is now involved in a drug delivery storyline. He didn’t go into it voluntarily. He was tricked into it by his “helpful” friend. We saw earlier this week that Simon called him and tried to get out of it but it was no use. Later, Simon is making a delivery when Jacob (Jack James Ryan) stops him for an urgent job. Simon is forced to help Jacob teach a young man a terrifying lesson. However, he leaves his delivery bag behind, which has bags of cocaine. What nobody realizes is that Sam has observed everything and what’s worse is he takes Simon’s bag, not realizing it has drugs in it.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Funeral Freak Out

Eileen tries to help George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) by assuring him that the funeral will go smoothly. Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) isn’t pleased to find out that Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) was picked to drive the hearse. Steve tries to rattle Tim on the day of the funeral and it works. Tim’s nerves get out of control and Eileen has to save the funeral from going south by driving the hearse herself. However, it is teased that Eileen will end up flipping out during the funeral.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Yasmeen Nazir Spirals

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Yasmeen is at Speed Daal when a customer asks about Geoff Metcalfe’s (Ian Barthomolew) tricks. It catches her off guard and sets the tone for the rest of the day. Later, Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) finds a stack of bills from Geoff’s creditors. As fans may recall, he always had Yasmeen sign papers and sometimes she didn’t know what they were. Now the creditors are coming after her. Alya tries to explain things to the bank, but they are not sympathetic. Then, Yasmeen thinks the bank manager is Geoff and has a panic attack.

Yasmeen isn’t the only one that is still dealing with Geoff after his death. It turns out that Geoff left Tim half of number 6 and 25 percent of Speed Daal. He doesn’t know what to do about it and has some difficult decisions to make. As for Simon, he gets excited when Jacob gives him a brand new phone. However, his spirits are crushed when he is urged to try the drugs he is delivering. Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) will continue racking up debt by talking to psychics who claim they can contact Oliver Battersby (Jeremiah and Emmanual Cheetham). Then things take a downward spiral when Leanne realizes she’s being scammed.
