FBI: Most Wanted: Who’s Not Returning In Season 5?

FBI: Most Wanted spoilers, news, and updates reveal that agent Kristin Gaines, played by Alexa Davalos, won’t be returning to the show’s upcoming fifth season. Alexa Davalos joined the CBS procedural in Season 3 as agent Kristine Gaines, a member of the FBI’s Fugitive Task Force. Agent Gaines was also a former Naval Intelligence Officer.

However, the actress has been told she won’t be coming back after filming her last scenes in Season 4. Deadline reported that the departure is amicable, nonetheless.

“I hear she was informed by a producer on set that she won’t be coming back after filming her last scene from Season 4 several months ago. According to multiple sources, the conversation — and Davalos’ departure — were amicable,” Deadline reported.

FBI: Most Wanted- Other Stars Had Been Leaving

Alexa Davalos’ exit adds to the list of other stars who left the show for varying reasons, including Julian McMahon (team leader Jess LaCroix), Kellan Lutz (Kenny Crosby), and Miguel Gomez (Special Agent Ivan Ortiz).

Davalos joined after Kellan Lutz left. McMahon was replaced by Dylan McDermott, who plays the new team leader, Special Agent Remy Scott. Edwin Hodge joined in Season 4 to replace Gomez.

In season 4 finale, Alexa Davalos’ character joined Remy’s team to capture the real culprit in his brother’s death, Benji.

Benji was trying to escape to Canada by train. It is unclear yet whether Davalos’ exit will be addressed in the upcoming season. What will happen to her character?

Alexa Davalos appeared in 44 episodes of FBI: Most Wanted from 2021 to 2023. She also starred in The Man in the High Castle as Juliana Crain (2015-2019), The Punisher (2019), and Mob City (2013). She’s known for her roles in The Chronicles of Riddick, Clash of the Titans, Defiance, and The Mist.

When Will FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 Return?

FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 is originally scheduled for a fall premiere. However, like many TV shows, it has been facing delays in production due to the ongoing WAG and SAG-AFTRA strikes.

Until the issues have been resolved, we could be waiting until 2024 for the newest episodes of this series.

Dylan McDermott is expected to return in Season 5, along with Roxy Sternberg as Special Agent Sheryll Barnes, Keisha Castle-Hughes as Special Agent Hana Gibson, and Edwin Hodge as Ray Cannon.
