Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) wanted Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) to be in good spirits before undergoing another skin graft. But she went as far as deceiving him to make him feel better before the procedure.

The episode that aired on April 19 marked a significant milestone in Ryan’s ongoing recovery from the traumatic acid attack. It was a pivotal moment when Ryan mustered up the courage to confront his scars and gaze at them for the very first time.

As Ryan made the decision to move forward with his recovery from the acid attack, Carla Connor stood by his side to provide her unwavering support. However, their hopeful moment was dampened by the distressing news from the doctor. The surgeon informed Ryan that his acid scars were not healing as fast as they had hoped for, and he would require an additional skin graft to help improve the situation.

Carla Barlow (Alison King) tells the other family members and friends about Ryan’s situation. When she and Daisy returned to Ryan’s room, they panicked after they noticed that he was missing. Later on, they managed to find Ryan at a local tram station. He was feeling distressed at that time, but the ladies managed to convince him to return to the hospital.

So she lies and sends Ryan a message, which was supposedly from Crystal, which lifts up his spirit before undergoing a skin graft. She sends him some texts and pretends that she was Crystal. She bid him farewell and reminded him not to give up on his DJ dream. How will Ryan react once he finds out that it’s all a lie? Will Daisy come clean about the deception, or will she lie once again until Ryan gets better?

Meanwhile, Ryan Prescott, the actor behind Ryan Connor, opened up about the acid attack storyline. He said that his character didn’t expect his injuries to be severe

“He has never seen major burns before so he doesn’t know what to expect and because he has been in bandages for so long he gets into a little comfortable zone with just wearing the bandage,” he said.

“Once his facial injuries are revealed to him, it knocks it right out of him again. The initial glances are heartbreaking,” he continued.
