Mary-Kate Olsen Goes Out On A Dinner Date With Brightwire CEO John Cooper

Former child actress and fashion designer Mary-Kate was spotted going out for a dinner date in NYC with Brightwire CEO just a month after her divorce was finalized in January.

Mary-Kate has been married to Olivier Sarkozy, who is 17 years older than she, for almost six years. Olivier Sarkozy is the half-brother of Nicholas Sarkozy, the former President of France, and they began dating in 2012, and got married three years later. Last year she filed for divorce from her husband, and asked it to be taken as an emergency despite delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic. A day later after the application, the emergency order was denied as it was considered non-essential.

She filed once again on May 25, after claiming that things have reached an emergency status as Sarkosky was trying to force her out of their New York home, the same date that the courts reopened. Earlier this year, in January, the divorce was finalized.

The dinner date

Cooper and Mary-Kate were seen together at the Greek eatery Estiatorio Milos in NYC on Friday night. Mary-Kate was seen to be in high spirits throughout the date, and she appeared comfortable and relaxed. Both Cooper and Olsen twinned in an all-black ensemble, with Olsen topping off hers with a beanie to ward off the cold.

Her hair was bound in a low pony which she later let loose as the dinner progressed. She topped off her minimal look with an edgy ear cuff and a handful of rings. The couple left the restaurant together with their black masks covering their faces, just the way it did when they came in.
