Coronation Street Spoilers: Emma Confides In Amy About Curtis’ Mental Disorder

Coronation Street spoilers tease that an overwhelmed Emma Brooker will tell Amy about Curtis’ lies. Did she do the right thing?

Emma (Alexandra Mardell) is still left reeling after knowing that her groom-to-be has been lying about his illness, especially now that they are only a few days away from tying the knot.

Initially, Emma demanded that Curtis (Sam Retford) pack his things and go his way but she changed her mind when her dad Steve Mcdonald(Simon Gregson) praised her beau for managing to raise funds for late Oliver’s charity.

Tonight, Curtis will fulfill his promise to Emma, and the couple visits a psychologist. Curtis narrates his childhood experience to the doctor, explaining that his lies have caught people’s attention and he enjoys it.

Emma is overwhelmed to hear about his story but her beau assures her he’ll focus on getting better for her.

But the bride-to-be can’t keep all the secrets to herself and confides with her half-sister Amy (Elle Mulvaney) that Curtis isn’t dying, rather he is battling a factitious disorder and needs help from an expert.

Amy, who is terrified of the news, insists Emma should drop their wedding and expose Curtis to her family. But will Emma listen to her?

‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers – Emma As Curtis’ “Enabler”

The previous episode showed how Emma turned out to be Curtis’ enabler when she remained silent during their family dinner at the bistro to cover up Curtis’ lies.

Curtis showed no hint of remorse when he continued with his lies after Tracy (Kate Ford) praised him for pulling off the Three Peaks Challenge despite his health condition.

“Well she hasn’t given up on me yet,” Curtis answered while tapping his heart.

Corrie fans worry this will only worsen Curtis as he’s now getting the attention from people and with Emma sticking by his side.

“This praising over Curtis raising money for Oliver’s fund is only going to make him want to CONTINUE lying,” a fan shared a good point.
