Gary risked his life to save Sarah from being hit by a car. He also couldn’t lie to her when she confronted him about Rick Neelan (Greg Wood). When Gary was hospitalized for his injuries, Sarah promised she would keep his secret. However, that ended up not just keeping quiet about Rick, but lying to Adam and the police. Later, Sarah made it clear to Gary that there was nothing between them, but viewers predicted that she was just in denial.
