Coronation Street Spoilers: Leanne Warns Toyah Battersby Following Shocking Confession

Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) will get a stern warning from her sister Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) after her huge confession. She tells her not to say anything else that she’ll regret.

In upcoming scenes, Toyah will confess to Spider Nugent (Martin Hancock) that she intentionally crashed the car to kill Imran Habeeb (Charlie de Melo). She drops the shocking revelation before her trial. Spider and Leanne will both be surprised by what they just learned.

Later on, Leanne tells her sister to avoid saying anything that she would regret once she takes the stand. She warns her to just allow her solicitor to do all the talking.

The prosecution portrays Toyah as a murderer. Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) and Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson) will both take the stand. Meanwhile, Saira will tell the court that she saw Toyah kiss Spider. She tells the court that she has always suspected the pair of having an affair and that Toyah intended to kill Imran.

Leanne will continue to defend her sister but what will happen when Toyah takes the stand? Will she confess or will she follow Leanne’s advice to keep quiet? Next week, the jury will decide on Toyah’s case after hearing all the testimonies and analyzing all the evidence presented. Will they find her guilty or not guilty?

Coronation Street Spoilers – Boss Talks About Toyah Battersby’s Secret

In an interview with Digital Spy, Coronation Street boss Iain MacLeod said that Toyah is self-destructive when she takes the stand.

“Toyah, whatever you may come to think about what happened in that car on the day where Imran died, fundamentally she’s a good person. She certainly considers herself to have a good heart and has strong morals,” he explained.

“When Toyah gets up in that courtroom, there’s every possibility that she might just hit self-destruct in some kind of desire to atone for her sins. So there’s quite a lot of danger in there,” he said.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Kelly Neelan Overhears Maria Connor’s Comments

Gary Windass (Mikey North) offers to help cover the costs of Kelly’s wedding, a decision that Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) isn’t too happy about. Maria wanted Gary to stop the elopement but the latter disagreed and said that doing so may push Kelly away. Later on, Kelly overhears Mariah making a statement about her relationship with Aadi as she prepares for their engagement party.

Kelly will feel hurt and disappointed when she hears Maria say that she’ll eventually break up with Aadi once she gets bored with him. Will Kelly Confront Maria?
