Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Harvey (Will Mellor) finds out someone ratted him out to the police. Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) bluntly admits that it was her. When the drug kingpin vows to kill her, she secretly plans on taking Simon Barlow (Alex Bain) and disappearing. However, Harvey could get to Leanne by targeting her friends and family.

Corrie spoilers reveal that Leanne went to the police to tell them about Harvey. After keeping her in a holding cell all night, they finally gave her an update. They needed her help because there simply wasn’t enough evidence to arrest Harvey. As the week goes on, Leanne starts to realize that the police aren’t going to be able to help her or Simon. So, when Harvey mentions that someone ratted him out to the police, she blurts out that it was her.

Harvey is furious when Leanne admits to going to the police. At the same time, he is taken aback because he isn’t used to people standing up to him. He expects everyone to be scared and simply do what he says. Leanne does fear the man but she is also just sick and tired of this whole situation. She knows the debt will never be paid off. The villain either keeps adding crazy interest rates or “expenses” are added to her grand total.

The drug kingpin makes it crystal clear to Leanne that she is a dead woman walking. That is when she realizes that there is no way they are going to survive this if they stick around.

Coronation Street spoilers from the new issue of Inside Soap magazine reveal that Leanne makes a plan. She and Simon are going to pack and get the heck out of there. They will go on the run, disappear from Harvey’s radar, and start over somewhere new. However, the villain probably already expects that to be her next move. Many people have tried to escape his wrath by running away. He has people in all kinds of places and that might include the police department.

In order to protect Simon, Leanne feels she has no choice but to give up everything. While Harvey’s connections might track Leanne and Simon, there is an even bigger concern. With Harvey’s hold on the cobbles strengthening each week, could Leanne’s friends and family end up paying the price?
