Coronation Street Spoilers hint that the cease in production could have put Gary Windass’ (Mikey North) major storyline on hold, which means we may not get to see his scenes until they begin filming again. With the current Pandemic still keeping people indoors until the curve can be inflated/ evened out. This has led Coronation Street to cut back on episodes to keep it on the air longer for viewers to get a weekly dose of their favorite British Soaps.
Coronation Street Spoilers – Gray Windass Storyline Put On Ice
In a recent interview that Mikey North did with Inside Soap, Mikey spoke about his most recent storyline that involved his character, Gary Windass, murdering the loan shark, Rick Neelan, would be put on ice until the show’s production started back up. He told the Inside Soap, “Honestly, we had some huge stuff planned. What we had in the pipeline was going to be a culmination of the last year of Gary’s life, and possibly the final chapter of this story.” This is what viewers have been waiting since many storylines of Gary have not been fully completed.
Coronation Street Spoilers – Gary Windass Feels Guilt
Unfortunately, he says that they were supposed to film his parts around the time that he was supposed to be filming. “I think we were due to start filming it the Monday that the country went into lockdown! I’m hoping we’ll pick it straight up. A lot was due to be filmed on location, and I have everything crossed as the scripts were just fantastic. I was really excited to do it!”
Micky confirms that Rick’s death was self-defense and left Gary no other choice, although it seems that Gary still feels guilty about having to kill Ricky. This explains why he is willing to pay for Kelly Neelan’s (Millie Gibson) school fees and take care of her when she was about to get into a fight.

He went on to say, “The factory roof is a bit harder to brush off I guess Gary never intended to kill anyone, it’s just that he’s covered it up for so long. That’s my excuse, anyway! I’ve been on the show for 12 years, and we’re heading toward the 60th anniversary – so I’d love to be involved with that if I can be!” Be sure to tune in to catch up on everything happening with Corrie right now.
