Even though so many decades have passed, just seeing Geoff and hearing his voice has made her shrivel up in terror all over again.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Alya Nazir’s Hope

Once Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) heard about Elaine and met the woman, she had hoped that Yasmeen could be cleared. All Elaine has to do is testify at Yasmeen’s trial and explain what kind of man Geoff really is. Unfortunately, Elaine was scared and realized she couldn’t face Geoff. Even Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) tried talking to the fearful woman.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Geoff Metcalfe’s Threat

Coronation Street spoilers previously teased that Geoff and Elaine would come face-to-face. We saw that happen in Monday’s episode. He saw Elaine walking down the street, pulled over his car, and backed her into a dark corner. He threatened her before slowly and menacingly walked towards her. Elaine kept backing up until she was against a wall and there was no way to escape.

The next thing viewers saw was Geoff walking out with Elaine’s cell phone. He destroyed it, along with the SIM card before tossing them away. Many fans believe that Geoff killed Elaine. However, she could still be alive.

Even though Alya reports Elaine missing, that doesn’t mean she is dead. As far as we know, Geoff has never murdered anyone despite him being a monstrous manipulator and abuser. He likely threatened Elaine and destroyed her phone. When she disappears and nobody can contact her, she is naturally feared dead.

But what if she is just letting Geoff believe she has left when she is actually laying low? Wouldn’t it be something if she suddenly surfaced walking into the courtroom to testify at Yasmeen’s trial? It would be a shock to everyone, but more importantly, there would be nothing that Geoff could do. Not in front of everyone in the courtroom and a judge.
