A journalist asks about Oliver Battersby’s (Emmanuel and Jeremiah Cheetham) fatal condition Gary feels guilty when David confides in him about not wanting to uproot his family. Friday, October 23

In Friday’s episode, Billy tries to reassure Paul that he doesn’t have to worry about Todd, but he’s not convinced. Steve comes back from Germany but has bad news about the doctor’s decision. Leanne is devastated when she finds out that Nick refused a generous donation toward Oliver’s medical fund. She is outraged and lashes out at Nick. Then, Leanne demands that Nick get the money that he refused because they can use it toward the legal fees.

Scott Emberton (Tom Roberts) lays out the robbery plan with Johnny Connor (Richard Hawling), who is just sick about it. He tries once again to back out of the plan, but Scott reminds him that if he doesn’t comply, Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) will find out the truth. Nick confides in Gail Rodwell (Helen Worth) about his true feelings about the court case. She encourages him to be honest with Leanne.
