He tried to stop Brian Packham (Peter Gunn) from using his metal detector in the area. Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) found Rick’s gold watch, which was inscribed. Next, he will be confronted while he’s trying to get out to the woods to move Rick’s body.

Walls Closing In

It seems that the walls are closing in on Gary. If he has one weakness, it is his feelings for Sarah. So, he can’t help himself when she directly asks Gary if he killed Rick. He tells her a little bit too much next week. Then, she rushes off to call the police, but the unthinkable ends up happening.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Saving Sarah Platt

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that as Sarah goes running off, there is a car headed in her direction. Seeing this, Gary rushes to push her out of the way and ends up getting hit himself. He sacrifices his killer secret, as well as his own life, for Sarah. A photo posted on Express shows Gary laying on the street and he looks unconscious. It’s not clear if he is dead or alive, though.

Will Gary Windass Die?

North talked to Loose Women about the storyline and the future of his character. However, he couldn’t give out any solid spoilers or even a hint if Gary would live or die. He explained,

“Honestly I’ve shot as far as I know now and I’m waiting to hear when I’m going back and what I’m going to do. So this might be it, although I hope not!”

Even though Gary does have a killer secret and has done some unthinkable deeds, the actor hopes that Gary still has a future on the show. Considering the horror of the accident and realizing Gary saved her life, could Sarah keep his killer secret? We will have to keep watching the ITV soap opera to see how this storyline develops over the next few weeks.
