Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) will bond over their feelings about their father, Stefano DiMera (Stephen Nichols) in an upcoming episode of Days of Our Lives!

Kristen DiMera And Tony DiMera Share A Mutual Hatred For Stefano DiMera

Kristen and Tony share a mutual hatred for Stefano; their eyes were opened to whom and what he really is when he told a programmed Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) to kill them because they had betrayed him! As longtime Days of Our Lives viewers will recall, Stefano adopted Kristen as a little girl along with her brother, and Tony had been impersonated by André DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) for over twenty years, during which Tony had been held captive on an island, thanks to André and Stefano. Kristen had practically worshipped Stefano over the years and even had a tattoo of a phoenix done on her back to symbolize herself as “the new Phoenix”.

Needless to say, the word “disappointed” doesn’t nearly convey the feelings that Kristen and Tony both now feel towards Stefano; “betrayed” might be a little closer and “devastated” would probably be closer yet! Kristen and Tony didn’t really get to know each other until comparatively recently since she and her brother were adopted during the time period Tony was captive.

Even then when Tony had come back to town, Kristen was not in town and by the time she came back Tony was assumed dead and in that cocktail shaker that Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) used to carry around as an urn! They really just got to start knowing each other after Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) had apparently given Tony his resurrection serum, and he was recovering in the warehouse in Nashville along with Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and possibly Stefano in his original body.

Kristen and Tony bond over their feelings for their father, even though it is over a mutual hatred of the man. Kristen and Tony by now have probably gotten to know one another much better than they did, and Tony has probably told Kristen about his life, and Kristen has probably told Tony about her life as well. They have both gone through hard things in life, Tony being held captive on the island, André’s impersonation of him ruining his reputation, and Kristen’s unluckiness in love and miscarriages.

She has been kidnapped by Stefano at least twice, and her first miscarriage happened when her mother, Rachel Blake (Pat Delany) died in an explosion. She was even sold into slavery! Most of Kristen’s crimes done on her own, such as impersonating Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) were out of desperation – she wanted to be with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) but was afraid he wouldn’t love her as herself.

That was how she got pregnant with their baby Rachel Isabella – he thought he was with Nicole! But the two have bonded over the presumed death of their baby and now are a strong couple. Tony and Anna have worked through their difficulties as well, and now Tony and Kristen have a family bond with one another as well.
