General Hospital spoilers reveal strange things continuing to happen in Elizabeth’s life as she tries to begin a brand-new romance with Hamilton Finn. What is really going on with Nurse Webber?

General Hospital Spoilers Webber Is Elizabeth Losing It?

It’s been quite a year for Elizabeth Webber Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) as she mourned her husband, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), but most of that mourning happened off-screen. Yes, we have seen Elizabeth here and there, but most of her time has been spent comforting patients and hiding not-so-dead bodies in freezers as she’s tried to decide if she is ready to move on again or not.

Now that Elizabeth wants to give things a go with Finn (Michael Easton), she’s been acting a bit odd, or at least the goings-on around her is odd. Does Elizabeth have anything to do with these things? For example, her wedding ring keeps turning up in places where she least expects and she has no idea how it keeps moving. And now Franco’s art studio burned down and nobody knows who did it.

Could Elizabeth be behind these things or is it someone other than Elizabeth, but still Elizabeth? A split personality perhaps? That’s a typical soap trope that hasn’t been used in a few years on GH so maybe it’s time and it will certainly give Rebecca Herbst something interesting to play. And perhaps just the mention of her father trying to call her a few months back triggered something from Liz’s childhood that brought this personality out, combined with the other trauma she has had in her life.

While it’s nice to think that maybe Franco’s ghost is playing some tricks, that seems highly unlikely because we can’t have nice things like Franco back in spirit form.

GH Spoilers – Please Don’t Let Peter August Be In Control

Then, there is always the worst-case scenario. Peter August (Wes Ramsey) says he has someone who has been helping him and someone who got him out of the freezer Finn and Liz locked him in thinking he was dead. Maybe Peter has Elizabeth under mind control at the moment and just has to pull out a tarot card so she does his bidding.

Since Peter needs to somehow be involved with everything, the show may go this way, but giving Liz another personality is a much better way to go. Stay tuned to General Hospital weekdays to see how this story plays out.
