General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that newbie Ella Lentini’s character Betty Rutherford has come on the Port Charles, New York scene like a hurricane, putting Ava Jerome (Maura West) on notice, and even slapping her during their first meeting. Is that any way to treat your employer?

Betty is the ultimate mean girl, but her portrayer is nothing like the new nanny. Here is everything you need to know about Ella Lentini while she scorches up the small screen this summer.

General Hospital Spoilers – Ella Lentini Is Betty

Lentini debuted on the soap in July. This is her first daytime role but her resume is impeccable. The actress made acting debut in the 2000 short film, Cusp.

She was also the voice of Hannah and Beth, in the 2015 PlayStation 4 interactive drama horror video game Until Dawn.

But wait, there’s more! Lentini is a multihyphenate: she also writes, directs and produces in addition to acting. Her directorial debut came with Piece of Cake, which screened in HBO’s Outfest.

The stellar piece was so well received that it won an IndieFEST Film Award.

GH Spoilers – Who Is Ella Lentini?

Lentini is a native New Yorker and a first-generation American. Her father Lino is Sicilian and her mother Jennifer is of Peruvian descent.

Lentini’s full name is Antonella Lucia Montes Lentini and she is a graduate of New York University; before that she attended Beacon High School in Manhattan.

Fans are hoping that the show finds a way of keeping Lentini despite her character’s atrocious behavior. After all, Betty is just a plant, doing the bidding of Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) and his reluctant cousin Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth).

By the way, fans definitely noticed that this week Mason called their boss HE while before the honcho was a SHE.
